This Cookie Policy explains how PRESCRIPT NETWORK LTD ("We", "Us", "Our") uses cookies and similar technologies on prescript.ng. It complements our Privacy Policy and reflects our obligations under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on Your device when You visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember Your preferences, and to provide information to the site operator about how the site is used.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, which behave like cookies but are stored differently in Your browser. References to "cookies" in this policy include these similar technologies.

Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be turned off. They are used for things like:

  • Remembering Your authenticated session if You sign in
  • Remembering Your cookie consent choice so we don't prompt You again
  • Preventing fraud and abuse

Because these cookies are essential for the Service to work, You cannot opt out of them while continuing to use the Service.

Analytics (optional, on by default)

These cookies help Us understand how visitors interact with our Service so we can improve it. They are enabled by default when You arrive, and You can switch them off at any time — see "Managing your choice" below. When You switch them off We stop sending analytics data and the analytics cookies are cleared from Your device.

We currently use one analytics service:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — provided by Google LLC. Sets cookies that start with _ga and _gid. Tracks pages visited, time on page, device and browser information, country/city-level location, and referral sources. We use Google Consent Mode v2, so if You switch analytics off, no further analytics cookies are written and only anonymous cookieless signals are sent.

Advertising (optional, on by default)

These cookies help Us measure our marketing and reach relevant audiences. They are enabled by default when You arrive, and You can switch them off at any time — see "Managing your choice" below.

We currently use one advertising service:

  • Meta Pixel — provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook / Instagram). Measures the effectiveness of our advertising and lets Us show more relevant ads. By default it sets cookies that start with _fbp and _fbc and enables full measurement, which involves sharing information about Your visit with Meta. If You switch advertising off, those cookies are cleared and the pixel drops to Meta's cookieless Consent Mode: it then sends Meta only aggregated conversion signals (for example, that an order of a certain value occurred) and writes no cookies or advertising identifiers on Your device. We never send Meta any information about the specific products or medicines You view or buy.

Managing your choice

When You first visit prescript.ng, You will see a cookie banner with the options "Accept all", "Reject all", and "Manage preferences". The optional categories above start switched on, so "Reject all" or the individual toggles under "Manage preferences" are how You turn them off. Your choice is remembered for future visits and applies until You change it.

The banner also has a close (✕) button. Closing it is not a choice either way: it simply dismisses the notice and leaves the settings as they are, so the optional categories stay on. We remember that You closed it so You are not asked again for the next 30 days. You can make or change a real choice at any time using the button below.

You can also block or delete cookies through Your browser settings. Most browsers let You see what cookies are stored, delete them, and block them site-by-site or globally. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.

If we add new categories of cookies or new third-party services, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will trigger a fresh consent prompt on Your next visit.
